Meishan pig meat is often called the "Wagyu Beef of pork." The products are a food-lover’s delight, known for producing an intensely flavorful, red meat with incredible fat marbling. Originally from China, these rare, heritage pigs are prized by chefs and sustainable farmers for their unmatched tenderness and high-quality, fine-grained lard that is fantastic for baking.

HOW IT WORKS
-
Decide what product you want (a whole hog? Half hog? Certain cuts?)
-
Contact us for pricing for certain cuts and to get your order in.
If you are interested in a whole or half hog, we require a $200 deposit. At time of butcher, the hanging weight x $7/lb will be your final cost (this includes all processor fees). On average, we expect 175-200lb hanging weight. -
Pick your pig! If you have selected a whole or half hog, you can select a hog from our current litter(s). Each pig is pink ear-tagged for identification.
Once you’ve picked your pig and made your deposit, we raise him/her up for you, and handle getting it to the processor. From there, we collect final charges and pay the USDA processor his fees. Then you just wait for the call to get your meat!
